We picked up Scout yesterday and he has already been a wonderful addition to our family. He is sweet, cuddly, playful and already a good listener. Thanks for such a wonderful companion.
Otis 8 Weeks
Introducing Otis. We picked up Otis on Easter Sunday and made the long drive back to Spokane. He was very well behaved on the drive home and enjoyed the snuggle time with our daughter. We stopped multiple times along the way for potty breaks and he decided to carry his bowl around. Since we’ve been home he has left his bowl where it belongs. He has been very busy getting to know the whole family and has responded well to kennel training. We picked out Otis completely on personality and are so glad we did because he is absolutely beautiful and a great companion for our family. We took him for his first trip to the Vet yesterday and he got an A+ check-up! He is such a smart dog and catches on very quick. We are all smitten with our new pup!

“How much does it cost to ship a puppy?” is a question we get quite often so I thought I would break down the cost of the little girl that left for Texas early this morning.
The first step is to get a health certificate from a vet – $25
A pet porter with airline approved fasteners – $56
Required Travel Supplies – absorbent pad, attached food and water dishes, etc. – $16
United Cargo – Petsafe, through United Airlines – $288
Total $385
My understanding is that this $288 ($271 + fees) is a flat fee for puppy & crate weighing between 11-50# and staying within the continental US. Just for reference, we had a combined weight of 23#.
This is a great option when you are having a hard time finding locally, the temperament and quality pedigrees you want in your next companion and hunting dog.
